Half the "STR" listings around here aren't vacation rentals at all. They're a spare room off Broadway or a two-bedroom bungalow that turns over monthly instead of every weekend. We clean both. A furnished mid-term place near the Lemon and the trolley needs the same guest-ready reset as a beach condo does — stripped and remade linens, a scrubbed kitchen, restocked paper and coffee, and checkout photos before the next guest keys in.
These are older post-war homes, so we plan for the quirks: windows that fog, grout that's seen decades, wall heaters in place of central air. Guests coming off SR-94 or the Green Line size a place up in the first thirty seconds, and a compact house shows every corner you skip. We run checkout-to-checkin, sync to your booking calendar, and flag any damage with timestamped photos so a claim isn't your word against theirs.
Turnovers on Lemon Grove's smaller, older rentals
Can you handle a mid-term furnished place that only turns over once a month?
Yes — that's most of what East County sends us. Monthly and 30-day furnished rentals still need a full reset between tenants, and we book those the same way we book a same-day turnover, just less often.
Do you clean the smaller room rentals too, or only whole houses?
Both. Plenty of Lemon Grove hosts rent a single room or a converted space rather than the whole bungalow, and we'll do just that room, the shared bath, and a linen swap without charging you for a house you're not renting out.
