Bonita Road runs the length of the valley, so it's usually our way in and out between a 10 a.m. checkout and a 3 p.m. check-in. That window sounds generous until you're cleaning a five-bedroom ranch house on a half-acre lot instead of a downtown condo.
These are real houses — multiple baths, full kitchens, sometimes a casita out back. We strip and swap linens, restock the consumables, and run a checkout walkthrough with dated photos for any damage claim. Bonita's unincorporated county land, so your STR rules aren't Chula Vista's, but a clean turnover keeps the reviews up either way.
Turning over the big Sweetwater-valley houses
Can you do a same-day turnover on a larger Bonita property?
Usually, if we know the checkout time the night before. For a four- or five-bedroom house we send a bigger crew so the square footage doesn't eat your whole window before the next guest arrives.
Do you deal with the dust from the horse properties out here?
That's most of what we clean near the equestrian trails and the reservoir — fine dust gets into everything. We wipe hard surfaces twice and check window tracks and patio doors, not just the floors.
